For over 40 years, we have assisted our clients in a variety of projects including water and wastewater treatment plants, storm drainage, transportation, planning, construction management, and surveying. We have 9 locations across Texas: Houston, Plano, Forth Worth, Austin, The Woodlands, Rosenberg, College Station, Katy, and San Antonio.     Valid Driver's License


    • Communicates deficiencies and/or variances from the plans, specifications, design drawings or violations of mandated safety policies to construction manager, contractor and/or engineer.
    • Identifies issues and problems –both in relation to the project and for potential construction impacts to the surrounding community and/or other adjoining construction site - and communicates areas of concern to the appropriate level for resolution.
    • Tracks construction progress, coordinates and conducts pre-task meetings, actively participates in constructability reviews and works with contractors and project managers to ensure timely completion.
    • Reviews and monitors project budgets, tracks and verifies pay estimate quantities and material on hand invoices. Coordinates inspection schedule with the contractors Pay Requests.
    • Acts as a “main point of contact” for clients and project personnel on project related matters. As a representative of the company, this requires professional conduct and appearance, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with a wide range of people
    • Manages inspections for multiple construction projects concurrently. Plans field inspection schedule to maximize time utilization and ensures that sufficient time is set aside for daily reporting and record keeping requirements, prior to leaving the job sites.
    • Is able to use survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, and test equipment to perform inspections, identifying benchmarks, elevations and construction staking. Can apply this information to coordinate survey activities for a project.
    • Documents the scheduled inspections and ensures project records are current. Inspections are generally performed daily and are required to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes, including safety codes.  The construction inspector also ensures that the company’s mandated safety policies are followed on job sites.  
    • Able to identify and apply a wide range of industry practices and regulations including MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) practices, TCEQ regulations and codes, and SWPP inspection requirements.
    • Clearly and accurately documents inspection records through daily written logs and supplementary photographs: uses a variety of mobile devices and cloud based construction management programs to store and share information.
    • Using construction documents, identifies compliance as well as conflicts, errors and omissions. These include but are not limited to RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch-lists and record drawings.


    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressively more complex experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction and/or large industrial plant construction. Preferred experience includes concrete tankage, buried and/or above ground piping, coating systems, caisson construction, electrical (high and low voltage), control systems and disinfection systems.
    • Proficient with computer tools like MS Office, cloud based applications, time and expense reporting, uploading/downloading files, CAD and/or construction management software (for a LC I/II)
    • Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
